If you enjoyed book 1, pick this one up too
The second instalment with Cal and Cali, saw a few twists and turns. A few of the steps along the way rankled a little. I didn't appreciate the situation the two Cals found themselves.
I can see why the story progressed as it did, but it didn't detract from the bitter taste it left in its wake.
That aside, I enjoyed the development of Cal and Cali's relationship, the growing tenderness coupled with fierce protectiveness works well.
If you enjoyed book 1, pick this one up too, it takes you even further into the roller coaster ride lives of our two protagonists Cal and Cali.
A couple of things I noticed:
70% - they drove a long ways (way)...
81% - despite (the) fact she'd had him...
