I am quite upset that Blood of Eden didn't get more than 2 stars. The concept and the style of writing that created some fantastic imagery were quite unique and really special.
What was lacking was the focus of the writer. This story jumped around from zero to 100 in less than 3 seconds. One minute you are in this location, with these characters, the next, you are in a different location with different characters. This made it quite hard to grasp what Edward wanted you to understand or learn about the story.
There were times during this story where I felt like I was smashed or drunk, the serious confusion this tale caused was unneeded and unwelcome.
Some serious work needs to go into this to make it easier to follow.
