If you're after an erotic book that has a bit if everything in it, try Shameless Ambition

Shameless Ambition - Robert Fanshaw

The first Steam eReads novel, and the first erotic tale written by a man that I have read.

What a ride.

I was pleasantly surprised that the story actually took a forward stance throughout the tale and the sex (albeit quite prevalent) was not the main focus. This meant that rather than a number of fantasies written down with tenuous linking plot, the reader is exposed to a quite complex tale of espionage, duplicitous actions and intrigue.

The characters were flawed, emotional and greedy, and yet, also showed strength, weaknesses and ingenuity. This meant that they felt real (and from the authors notes at the end if the book, it appears they very well could be based upon real people!) This meant that I cared about what happened to the characters, I went along with Caroline for the wickedly sexy ride she found herself on and I longed for the ending to work out for all involved.

The writing was solid, a few minor typos, but nothing major, and they weren't bad enough to bother my reading either.

I would have liked some more detail in the final scenes, it all felt a little rushed, and also a little comical and far-fetched towards the last few pages. At one point I even laughed at the silliness of it all.

If you're after an erotic book that has a bit if everything in it, try Shameless Ambition, it's got F/F, group sex, a touch of light BDSM, D/s themes, voyeurism, outdoor sex, and exhibitionism, just to name a few. I doubt you wouldn't find something to enjoy in that lot!

This was a great, warm, wet, welcome into what SteamEreads has to offer. Great work Robert! I hope you've got more on the way.

A couple of things I noticed:
5% - should blond be blonde? Since it's talking about a woman.

19% - ...what (to) say in her text...

47% - ...it would give her (a) chance to sort...
